How Can We Help

Setup Data Replication from Salesforce

SherpaDesk provides the ability to import into the system Salesforce Contact as User and Salesforce Account as Account and automatically synchronize this data in separate night replication process.

To setup data replication from Salesforce log in to SherpaDesk web application under administrator’s account, go to Configuration->Salesforce page and turn on the feature.
Click “Create Token” button.

Once you initiate the Salesforce sync and it is authenticated we are now able to read and update your data.
SherpaDesk provides a nightly sync option to automatically manage your data going forward, but you can turn it on or off.
NOTE: Once this process is started the system will replicate your data into the SherpaDesk on a nightly replication.

Log in to Salesforce under administrator’s account.

Click “Allow” button to grant access to the SherpaDesk.

Salesforce configuration page displays the message “Salesforce admin authentication token was created for your instance and will be used for Salesforce authentication”.

Click “Diagnostics Retrieve Users” hyperlink in “Step 1” to retrieve top 25 Contacts from Salesforce as example of replication data.

You can manually import the Contacts from Salesforce by clicking “Import Users” hyperlink in “Step 2”.

Click “Diagnostics Retrieve Accounts” hyperlink in “Step 3” to retrieve top 25 Accounts from Salesforce as example of replication data.

You can manually import Accounts from Salesforce by clicking “Import Accounts” hyperlink in “Step 4”.
