Assign Asset to a User

Overview:

While assets can already be linked to tickets, associating them with users makes it easier to track which device belongs to whom. This can be managed from the "Update Asset" page.


Steps:

Assign User

1. Log in to Sherpadesk with valid credentials.

2. Click on "Assets" in the side navigation pane.

3. Click on an asset on the Assets page.

4. Search for the user in the "CheckedOut" field.

5. Click on the "Apply" button.

The Asset is successfully assigned to the specified user.
