Overview:
SherpaDesk monitors email delivery to stay compliant with CAN-SPAM rules and maintain a good reputation with email providers. If an email bounces, the system will keep trying to deliver it for up to 3 days. If it still fails, the email address is marked as a "Bounced Email", and no further emails will be sent to it.
A system administrator can manually reset this status if needed, allowing emails to be sent to that address again.
Steps:
Reset Email Status
1. Log in to Sherpadesk with valid credentials.
2. Click on "Settings" in the horizontal menu.
3. Click on "Logins" on the configurations page.
4. Click on the "Bounced Email" login.
5. Click on the "Reset Email Status" tab on the Edit Login page.
Once the email has been reset, SherpaDesk will attempt to deliver emails to the address again. However, if delivery fails, the email will be flagged as a bounced address once more.
