Is an email required during the create new user process?

In the create a new user it requires an email. I want to disable that so that it does not need it to create a new user. Unchecking the send email setting does not work for the create new user.

    If you are wanting to create a new user and assign ticket to that user than email address is required. The email address does not have to be a valid email address, but a email address is required.


    If you don't want to the new user to receive the new user creation email then you can turn this off by going to the 'Config' section and go down to 'Logins'. In the logins section you will see 'Settings' and in here you will need to uncheck 'Send Email for New Users'
