SherpaDesk by default allows open access for users to create tickets into your instance.
If you are looking to only restrict only users with approved domains (i.e. @yourdomain.com) to have access to create tickets then you will need to update a few settings.
1. Restrict Via Email Parsing
- You will need to go to Configuration > Emails > remove the option to ‘Allow New User Creation via Email Parser'
- You will also need to enable ‘Limit new users to only matching email suffixes'
- You will need to enter the approved Email Suffixes (i.e. @yourdomain.com) in the suffix section.
2. Restrict Via Portal
You will need to go to Configuration > Support Portal > Enable 'Limit new users to known email suffixes'
3. Restrict New User Creation via Login
You will need to disable the New User Wizard by going to Configuration > Logins > Settings
